Introduction

Dr Sarobidy is an environmental socio-economist with an interdisciplinary background in natural resource management. She uses surveys, choice experiments, behavioural games, qualitative interviews, deliberative approaches, and mixed methods to understand decision-making in the areas of rural livelihoods, environmental justice, environmental economics, climate change mitigation, and conservation.  She just completed three-year postdoctoral research on conservation-food security conflicts at the University of Stirling. She received a double PhD degree in Environmental and Development economics from Bangor university and the university of Copenhagen in 2016. Her PhD thesis examined the true local welfare costs of conservation restrictions in Madagascar. Prior to her PhD, she used the lens of political ecology to analyse the institutional arrangements and land-use conflicts within a REDD+ pilot project in Tanzania.

Dr Sarobidy holds a double PhD degree in Environmental and Development Economics, Bangor University, UK and University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Dr Biniam is a scientist with both academic and industrial experience in water science and engineering.

Dr Biniam is a professor at @ anglia ruskin university and he is specialist of urban wastewater, river basin management, hydrological modelling, and integrated dynamic system control and optimization. Enthused by sustainable and resilient approaches with a particular interest in mitigation and adaptation to climate change through efficient uses of resources and capacity building.

Dr Biniam carries out research on the impact of reforestation / afforestation on hydrology (rivers, creeks, lacs, etc), soil moisture, rainfall, and their impact of existing ecosystems and advise mitigation measures prior to the implementation of carbon Reset Ltd projects.

Medard is a Professor of Geography and President of the University of Sarh (Chad), and responsible for the implementation of Carbon Reset Ltd projects across Africa
